by Andy NeuenschwanderThe race is on! Bright and early this morning, "The Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence announced the nominees for the 84th annual Academy Awards, and while the list is mostly full of the names we expected (Clooney, "The Artist"), there are still some surprises.
"Hugo" leads the field with 11 nominations, followed immediately by "The Artist" with 10. With the new voting system in place for Best Picture, the category holds nine nominees this year instead of ten.
